Dr. Edwin Perez: A New Jersey anesthesiologist licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Washington, Dr. Edwin Perez treats patients at both Garden State Pain in Clifton and Roxbury Anesthesia in Jersey City. He joined both organizations in 2015, following tenure at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he handled medical cases related to pain management. In his current roles, Dr. Edwin Perez administers anesthesia for same-day surgical procedures and tends to chronic pain patients on an outpatient setting. Concurrently, Dr. Edwin Perez is a volunteer assistant professor and medical anesthesia residency site director at Rutgers. Since taking these positions in 2011, he has played a vital role in preparing Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s operating rooms for residents and training future medical professionals in anesthesia. He is also tasked with monitoring compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) stipulations.
